Oklahoma ## Oklahoma Insurance Prelicensing Information Updated April 25, 2025 This information is for pre-licensing. If you want to know the continuing education requirements, visit [Continuing Education Requirements](/en/ce-state-requirements/oklahoma). ### Requirements Overview Oklahoma does not require licensing candidates to complete prelicensing education; however, EducUp highly recommends that you complete an educational course before attempting to take your state’s licensing exam. ### How to Get Your License 1 #### Prelicensing Course (Optional) Complete an optional prelicensing course that helps prepare you to take and pass your licensing exam. 2 #### Schedule Exam with PSI Schedule your exam with your state’s testing provider, [PSI](https://home.psiexams.com/#/home). Registration can be done online at [PSI](https://home.psiexams.com/#/home) or call (833) 333-4754. Your exam may be taken at a physical PSI examination center or via a remote online proctored exam. Exam fees must be paid at the time of reservation. To cancel your exam, you must contact PSI Exams at least two (2) days in advance or forfeit your registration fee. On the day of your appointment, you must bring with you a valid form of government issued identification (driver’s license, passport, military I.D., etc.) which must contain a photograph. You will not be able to take your exam if these requirements are not met. NOTE: Candidates taking a remotely proctored exam must select to end both the exam portion and survey portion of the test in order to receive your on-screen results and emailed score report. Security measures are taken for all testing methods. Restrictions on what you may bring with you to the testing center, into the testing room, and what you may wear will be enforced.
