You will also need to apply for your license with the state insurance department and register for the state licensing exam. Make sure to register for all 3 (prelicensing course, license application, state exam) using the personally identifiable information exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. Arkansas requires 20 hours of prelicensing education for each line of authority; and 40 for dual line of authority. Application fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. 3 #### Receive the Authorization to Test Confirmation via email from PSI. After four business days, you may go online or call PSI to schedule the examination. 4 #### Schedule your exam with PSI.
